AgenzIQ (“we” or “us”) is an early-stage technology business based in Virginia, United States. This policy explains how we handle information through this website. If you have a question about it, email us at agenziq@gmail.com.
Information you give us
The only information this website asks you for is what you enter in our contact form:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your company name, if you choose to provide it
- Your project interest
- Your message, and anything you choose to include in it
Please do not include passwords, financial details, health information, or other sensitive information in your message.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Read and respond to your inquiry
- Discuss and consider the work or collaboration you ask about
- Keep a record of our correspondence with you
- Operate this website, keep it secure, and prevent spam and abuse
- Meet any legal obligations that apply to us
We do not sell information submitted through the contact form. Submitting the form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Form checks and spam prevention
Our server checks each submission before sending it, including that required fields are complete, that your email address looks valid, and that entries are within length limits. To help detect automated submissions, the form also checks how quickly it was completed and uses a hidden field that people do not see.
To limit repeated submissions, our server temporarily counts requests using your IP address and the email address you enter. It also keeps an overall daily count of messages sent, which does not identify anyone. We do not include these checks or counts in the inquiry email.
Service providers
We use service providers to run this website and receive your inquiry. They handle information under their own terms and policies.
- Resend (email delivery)
- When you submit the form, its contents are sent to Resend so they can be delivered to us by email. Read Resend’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
- Google Gmail (our mailbox)
- Inquiries are delivered to a Gmail mailbox, and we reply from it. Read Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
- Website hosting provider
- Our hosting provider serves this website and runs the server that handles the form.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Website hosting and technical logs
Like most websites, this site runs on a hosting service that receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested, and the time of the request. Our hosting provider may keep this information in its logs.
Our own website code does not write your name, email address, or message to its error logs. If a delivery problem occurs, it records only the type of error.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking
This website’s own code does not set cookies or save information in your browser’s local storage. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts on this website. Its fonts and scripts are served from the site itself.
If this changes, we will update this policy.
Keeping and deleting information
Different information is kept in different places, for different periods:
- The website
- The website does not save contact form messages in a database.
- Temporary spam-prevention data
- Our server holds your IP address in memory for up to 10 minutes, and the email address you enter for up to one hour, for the rate limits described above. A server restart may remove them sooner.
- Email content and metadata at Resend
- Resend’s documentation states that on its Free, Pro, and Scale plans it retains email content and metadata for 30 days.
- Delivery logs at Resend
- Resend’s documentation states that delivery status, events, logs, and metrics are also retained for 30 days on those plans, and that its backups persist for 7 days. Resend controls these periods, and they may change.
- Our Gmail mailbox
- Inquiries remain in our mailbox until we delete them. We do not currently have a fixed deletion schedule. We generally keep inquiries while they are useful for responding to you, for any resulting conversation or work, or for meeting a legal obligation. Google may keep deleted messages for a period under its own policies.
- Hosting logs
- Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for periods set by its own policies.
Deleting an inquiry from our Gmail mailbox does not automatically delete copies held by service providers. Those copies are handled under each provider’s own retention periods.
International processing
AgenzIQ is based in the United States. Resend’s documentation states that it stores account and email data in the United States. Our other service providers may process information in other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and possibly elsewhere, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information you send us. For example, our email service credentials are kept on the server and never sent to your browser, form submissions are checked on the server, and repeated submissions are limited.
No website, email service, or method of storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email in particular may pass through systems outside our control.
Privacy requests
You can browse this website without using the contact form. To ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, email agenziq@gmail.com. We will handle legitimate requests.
We may need to confirm your identity first. We may keep information where the law requires it, and we may be unable to immediately remove copies held in a service provider’s logs or backups. Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you additional rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date shown above.
